There were 28
runners in our Run for Ron team on April 26th 2009. Three had to
withdraw through injury, too late to be replaced unfortunately. But their
places will be available in our team for 2010 if they want to try again.
The Ron Pickering Memorial Fund and its Trustees are grateful to the following
runners who completed the course in such fine style. We congratulate each and
every one of them on an amazing achievement and thank them sincerely for their
support of our charity.

behalf of the Ron Pickering Memorial Fund and the young athletes who will
benefit.
Greg
Sawyer & Adrian Morreale are two teachers from John Warner School,
Hoddesdon, who represented us.
Three
friends from Hertfordshire who got together and represented RPMF. (l to
r) Matt Bainbridge, Grant Bennett and Roger Lee. Grant works for the
Hertfordshire Police.

Every year
we have someone from Grant Thornton representing us in the marathon.
This year it was Paul Bennett, from their forensic and investigation
services team based in Birmingham. He completed the race dressed as Fred
Flintstone and was one of our fastest runners.
